Have you ever been confused about how to market on the internet? I know I certainly have been confused on the subject! It seemed as though it was so complex.

Marketing on the internet does relate to real life but I had no idea how anyone was making customers out of social network site acquaintances. In my efforts to find out information on what to do and why, I got baffled even more.

For an example, a while ago I received an email from a professional internet marketer who said to click here and get his free PDF download of an internet marketing chart. It had at least one hundred steps to do with arrows pointing here and there.

One look at that chart and I gave up! That was one puzzle that I did not want to solve. It was a nightmare and certainly wasn’t information that I would pass on to anyone else. I still kept looking to find a sensible explanation.

But, social marketing on the internet is all the rage now-a-days with sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and the new Google Buzz. Google thinks that social marketing is so important that now Twitter messages show up in Google search results.

It well behooves you to learn how to use social marketing in order to get the word out about yourself and your works. There’s a correct way to use it to create business and a wrong way to do it.
